Brit Hume tells O'Reilly: Tiger Woods needs something Christianity offers

A friend of mine forwarded this to me yesterday. As a Christian, I am absolutely thrilled and proud of Brit Hume for speaking boldly about redemption and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. I am sure that he is suffering the repercussions of his remarks. John 15:18-20 "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, 'A slave is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also." I pray that Brit stands firm and for the Lord's protection from the haters. More than that, I pray that all of us who are in need of forgiveness and redemption would follow Brit's advice and give our lives to Jesus Christ.

  1. I'm actually more encouraged by this interview than the soundbite I had originally heard (embedded in this video). The soundbite sounded to me more like "using the faith" to get public redemption, as opposed to the true embracing of the Grace of God provided through our savior.

    Thanks for posting this
